桜松神社・桜松公園(Sakuramatsu Shrine ・Sakuramatsu Park)

松の木に桜の花が咲いたのを見て村人が驚き、吉兆としてあがめたという言い伝えのある桜松神社の社殿があります。
縁結びの木や渓流に沿った遊歩道が人気のスポットで、また境内には、修験者の道場だったといわれる「不動の滝」があります。
また、毎年５月３日には「不動の滝まつり」が行われ、桜松公園では公園一面で桜が咲き誇ります。

Located here is the main hall of Sakuramatsu Shrine which legend says villagers revered as a lucky omen when they saw cherry blossoms blooming magically from the pine trees. It is a popular spot for tying 'love knots' to the trees and strolling the path along the mountain stream. Within the shrine grounds is Fudo Falls where practitioners of shugendo (mountain asceticism) are said to have visited. Moreover, the Fudo Falls is held here every year on the 3rd May when the entire of Sakuramatsu Park blooms proudly with cherry blossoms.
